Bequest

The International Women's Writing Guild has recently been the recipient of two bequests. These supplement IWWG's ability to give the many scholarships that it does to its conferences and workshops.

Simply stated, a General Bequest to the IWWG might read like this:

"I bequeath to the International Women's Writing Guild, a nonprofit corporation in the city of New York, the sum of $______."

Bequests may be made in any amount, both large and small, and may be designated for a specific purpose such as Scholarships. They are fully tax-deductible donations. You may wish to discuss this with your accountant or lawyer.

Note: The International Women's Writing Guild is fiscally managed by the New York Foundation for the Arts and audited annually by the accounting firm Loeb & Troper.
